• Perfect ground adaptation
    All cutting units can adapt independently to the ground and thus guarantee the best cutting results even under difficult conditions.

  • Integrated adjustable collision protection
    The side cutting units are equipped with a hydraulic collision safety device as standard; in the event of a collision with an object, the cutting units reliably deflect backwards / upwards. A collision safety device is also optionally available for the center cutterbar. The pressure relief valves of the hydraulic drives are set in such a way that the cutterbars stop should a foreign object get into the knife. This prevents damage to the cutting unit.

  • Low power consumption
    The BB-Umwelttechnik butterfly mowers are extremely lightweight. Weight relief and an intelligent drive technology promise lowest energy consumption at maximum working width. For example, a tractor with 80 hp and attached Seco Duplex 900 F butterfly mower can easily mow with an engine speed of 1450 rpm and a driving speed of 11 km/h.

  • Transport position
    Unobstructed view to the front even in the transport position, as the lifted side mowers hardly restrict the view.

  • Integrated revolution counter
    The mowers are equipped with a revolution counter that shows the current speed of the drives. This means that drive speed and rpm can be easily matched to each other so that work can always be carried out in the ideal range. This increases the service life of the blades and saves fuel.

  • Overview
    Excellent overview as the entire machine is in the operator’s field of vision. Obstacles are detected without any problems. Full utilization of the entire working width thanks to cutting units in the field of vision – no unnecessary overcutting.

  • No driving over standing forage
    Trouble-free use of tractors with large outer width (e.g. twin tires), as the forage is mown in front of the tractor

  • Flexible
    Attractive working widths (up to 9.50 meters) and the nevertheless low dead weight (from approx. 790 kg) make this combination also interesting for smaller tractor vehicles. Only front PTO and power supply are required for operation. Optionally, the machine is also available as a rear-mounted version for tractors with reverse drive equipment.

  • Comfortable operation
    With the newly developed optional joystick, BB-Umwelttechnik sets new standards in operating comfort. From the intuitive operation of the individual cutting units to various automatic functions for the headland, no wishes are left unfulfilled. The integrated display keeps the driver informed about the speed of the drives.
    Alternatively, the mower is available with a functional tilt lever control with integrated revolution counter as standard.
